With tracks like “Prayer in C” and “Sugar” the German DJ and music producer Robin Schulz has made a name for himself. Meanwhile, the Osnabrück-born DJ is one of the world’s most famous acts and regularly performs at major festivals such as the Ultra Music Festival in the United States or Tomorrowland in Belgium. Fans can also experience him as resident DJ on Ibiza or in Las Vegas. In the beginning, Robin Schulz concentrated on remixing well-known songs, in the meantime he also composes his own tracks.

Robin Schulz Biography
DJ Robin Schulz is one of the few German artists who have made their international breakthrough. His music has sold about 15 million copies and is played by radio stations all over the world. In 2014 “Prayer in C” catapulted the musician to No. 1 in the Shazam charts as the first German artist. The song also topped the single charts in 40 countries.
In 2011 Robin Schulz founded the label “Lausbuben Records” together with two other DJs. In May 2020 he started his own label “Mentalo Records”. The cooperation with many different bands and musicians is part of the everyday life of the German DJ. Among the stars Robin Schulz has collabbed with are Akon, the French superstar DJ David Guetta and the British singer-songwriter James Blunt. Robin Schulz is also known for his collaboration with promising newcomers such as the Swedish-American singer Rhys or the Swedish singer Winona Oak. The track “Oxygen”, on which Winona Oak can be heard, is the first release on Mentalo Records. Sound technically the song – a mixture of EDM and hit-suspicious pop – gives a foretaste of the further development of the label.
Robin Schulz was already interested in music at a young age. With 15 years he bought his first record player. A few years later he started to play in local clubs. His first big success came in 2013 with a remix of the hit “Waves” by Dutch rapper Mr. Probz. In 2017 the documentary “Robin Schulz – The Movie about Schulz” celebrated its premiere in Hamburg. Privately Robin Schulz lives a rather secluded life. He is particularly proud of having kept both feet on the ground, says the successful DJ.

Awards
Robin Schulz has been honoured for his work with four ECHO awards. In 2016 he received the Grand Prix of the Paris Music Video Festival for the music video for his single “Sugar”. In the same year, the single “Sugar” received a Spotify Award.
