Background information about Madcon

Madcon that are the two rappers Tshawe Baqwa and Yosef Wolde-Mariam from Norway, who call their joint project MADCON (abbreviation for ‘Mad Conspiracy’).

Their album “So Dark The Con Of A Man” is a surprise success because of the single “Beggin”. Not only in Norway, but all over Europe the first single “Beggin'” has become a huge hit.

2010 was the most successful year for MADCON so far : Due to the legendary ‘Eurovision’ performance, the Norwegian duo not only scored two number one hits in their Scandinavian homeland with “Glow” and “Freaky Like Me” (from the album “Contraband”), the singles also found themselves high up in the charts in other European countries.

In 2013, “One Life” (in a duet with Kelly Rowland) is another smash hit. In 2015, the guys from MADCON are on a chart course again with “Don’t Worry” and the US singer Ray Dalton (known from Macklemore’s “Can’t Hold Us”).
