Interview with Live Entertainment Network-founders: Stefan Lohmann, Lenn Kudrjawizki and Felix Neumann

Stefan Lohmann:

“The network was founded because, through our intensive collaboration on a wide variety of projects – with many artists who are friends with us – we discovered that our huge pool of artists and skills had to be bundled and cooperation between them encouraged.

 

As Artist Relations Manager and Talent Buyer, I book the right artists for my clients and develop, on request, complete live entertainment concepts. By bringing together music, fashion, show acts, Arial acrobatics and stars in our network, we expand the creative scope for our clients and can now offer event agencies, promoters, TV programmes, radio events and tour productions an even broader spectrum of live entertainment.

And what doesn’t exist, we simply create ourselves.”

Lenn Kudrjawizki:

“Through the network, we were able to optimize our structure, simplify processes and thus increase efficiency. Everyone does what they do best and like to do best. This increases productivity and at the same time leads to better quality and worklife balance”.

How did you meet?

Lenn Kudrjawizki:

“Felix and I know each other from kindergarten and have been close friends ever since. I have known Stefan for many years and together we founded the Berlin Show Orchestra in 2015. That was for the Day of German Unity – a production of Hessischer Rundfunk. For us, the fusion to form a network is a consistent further development of our successful cooperation. Together with partners from the current network, we also staged the show production Angelstrings as an aerial act for the first time at the Famab Award and now form an unbeatable team with a lot of fun at work”.

What has changed through the artist network?

Felix Neumann:

“We are now working more internationally and can implement larger projects with international stars without sweating. Whether DVD production with the exceptional artist Schiller or a 3 hour concert program with own orchestral arrangements for various international stars. Whether Leipzig Opera Ball incl. moderation of the evening or a soul night until the early hours of the morning, we now have more time for experiments and technical inventions, which we use, for example, in our Misses Toms – LED Power Drumming Show with laser show and video content. We can let our orchestras float – if our customers want us to. We have a real crazy job – Love it!

How do you differ from other live entertainment providers and databases?

Stefan Lohmann:

“We offer more and that in highest quality! Our combination of stars and complete live entertainment is unique – worldwide. In addition, we have Felix, the best musical director, who is highly praised for his arrangements by all international stars. We are well positioned and have a foot in the film business including film music and access to actors through Lenn’s acting and directing work.”

“We offer more than the view of a stage! We understand events as “in the middle of an experience” including room mapping, 3D shows, holographic effects and aerial acts, and one thing should be clear to everyone. Google and databases don’t know anything about live entertainment business, and they don’t know if an artist is good or how to create shows. To databases, I can only say: This business can’t be pressed into databases – because nothing is older than yesterday’s fee, so it doesn’t matter what somebody paid for artist XY at some point, but it’s up to future fees to negotiate in the best possible way”.
