The debut album of the Guano Apes was released on 06.10.1997, it was called “Proud Like A God” and contained among others the titles “Open Your Eyes”, “Rain”, and in a subsequent edition “Lords Of The Boards”. Henning Rümenapp, Dennis Poschwatta, Stefan Ude and Sandra Nasic worked out an album with youthful recklessness in the surroundings of Göttingen, which subsequently led a triumphant march through the rock charts of the world. Gave Generation X a voice and launched a career spanning more than 20 years. 20 years later the GUANO APES are back on tour in their original line-up.

Sandra Nasic – Singer of the Guano Apes

Sandra Nasic, as the first and loudest woman in the genre, became an icon for the girls who were just not pop but different, “Open Your Eyes” became a global anthem. From August to November 2012, Nasić sat on the jury of the third season of X Factor with Sarah Connor, H.P. Baxxter and Moses Pelham, and in 2014 participated in the show Sing meinen Song – Das Tauschkonzert on VOX. On April 25, 2014, her solo single Drowned in Destiny was released. (Wikipedia)
