The albums “Boonoonoonoos” from 1981, “Ten Thousand Lightyears” from 1984 and “Eye Dance” just one year later were further highlights of the creative phase.
More than 150 million records sold line the biography of the band. In Germany, “Rivers of Babylon” was the most successful song. For more than 37 weeks the song stayed in the single charts and made it to the top position. The band was able to continue this success series in Switzerland, Austria and England. The most successful song even made it to number 30 in the US single charts.
Today, the musicians rely on their old hits, complete the program with new songs and still present a breathtaking stage show. Boney M., as if time had stood still.
