When Stefan Lohmann presented Claire Garvey to us we went crazy as soon as we saw her designs. It was mindblowing. With Claire Garvey we have now a couture fashion designer with us who shares our vision of a unique show and fashion design.”

Stefan Lohmann (Live Entertainment Expert): “I’m very proud to work with such talented fashion designer like Claire Garvey. I’m happy that she loves to work with the Berlin Show Orchestra and the Angelstrings. That’s the best basis for a cooperation anyway. The Famab Award Show is the first we’ll we do together and it is definitely not the last one. Beside that she is producing her designs in Dublin in a sustainable way. The Berlin Show Orchestra and Claire Garvey are the perfect couple. Both are unique in their field and together they fight against climate change.
Claire Garvey supports the idea of sustainability in her very own way:
Claire Garvey: “A lot of the buttons, buckles and lace are vintage so by using them I am giving them a new lease of life. I also have some hand-knits, and recycled fabrics which I combine with textiles such as boiled wool. I also love searching for vintage beads which I find much more magical and individual rather than mass-produced beads. I make everything in my own shop with my staff in Dublin as I really don’t like mass manufacturing my outfits which means all my outfits are unique one off pieces. I take great pride in the fact that everything is sourced locally and of course my staff are local.”
But that’s not all – read this:
Claire Garvey: “Some of my bridal pieces are very unusual. One corset had dried chilli peppers on it because the bride met her husband in Chili. For other dresses some people bring in special ornaments which I incorporated into their dresses.”
